I am so glad that you and your child/children are joining our cooperative Religious Education Program here at Neshoba UU Church. The greatest gifts that we can give our youngsters are the knowledge and support that empower them to be thoughtful, caring, and independent individuals. Our Religious Education program offers the groundwork for this meaningful endeavor. But it doesn’t end there. Each and every day offers opportunities for spiritual growth. Through discussion and example, we demonstrate our Seven Principles. We live our values in the ways we care for each other, seek justice for our world and in the keeping of our planet. Neshoba Church is happy to offer you and your child/children a lifelong learning community to explore ideas, to build meaningful friendships, and to worship in a loving environment.
Peace and blessings,
Sarah Osborne

Our Mission
The mission of the Religious Education Program at Neshoba is to provide a welcoming and supportive congregational environment that nurtures self-respect, life-long learning, spiritual growth, and faith in action. Our program aims to engage individuals in experiential learning that explores diverse religious beliefs, promotes a sense of community, forms an understanding of social responsibility, and facilitates the practice of our UU values and principles. It is the goal of the religious education program to inspire wonder for life in its infinite diversity and challenge each to find and share their talents, gifts and creativity.
